The circular economy is a hot topic, we like to focus on the Smart Cities in 2024. So on this day, we welcome our partners to come and tell more about their interpretation of the theme. With a look at Smart Building, Smart Mobility and Smart Energy, we welcome this theme day. The combination between learning and having fun is very important. As a result, 1 part of the day is dedicated to content and 1 part to sailing. The day is twofold, with a morning programme from our different partners ( like Supply Chain Masters) in various tents. They are providing content sessions in the morning with their own schedule. In the afternoon we go sailing for the Smart Cities Cup! So look carefully at the programme to make sure you are applying for the correct content.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE INFORMATION BELOW IS STILL MAINLY FROM 2023
There are 3 types of boats you can use to participate in the event on this day. Taking a boat provides access to the venue, the morning content session by Supply Chain Masters, VIP catering throughout the day and, of course, sailing in the afternoon. You do not need to include a captain in the number, that is provided as part of the package.

These days a lot of people have a charging station, solar system, or home battery, in the future we have the challenge to connect all these devices. We must change our habits with electrifying, the connection of the devices and a protocol to charge / discharge is a luxury. This EMS system will take care for us that we only have to plug-inn the car and automatically the system will use the devices for an optimal flow of your energy chain.

After 5 years in China, having explored every step of the supply chain and achieving double digit growth in International Sales for a Chinese garment manufacturer, he moved back to Holland to start his own FairTrade certified private label production company, which he has been running for the past decade.
When confronted with the inequality on a near daily bases, and seeing the impact the fashion industry has on our planet, Bart co-founded tex.tracer, to make a change and bring transparency to the complex and opaque fashion supply chain.

The circular economy is a model of production and consumption, which involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible. In this way, the life cycle of products is extended. The main goal of a smart city is to optimise city functions and promote economic growth, while also improving citizens’ quality of life by using smart technologies and data analysis. The value lies in how this technology is used rather than how much technology is available. It is evident that the current economic environment has forced us, urban planners and architects to rethink how we design our urban environment. As the world struggles to recover, this may be a good time to explore how urban planners can help build more resilient cities and how we can help stakeholders understand how an organization manages risks and opportunities around sustainability issues. More and more companies across industries are adopting circular principles to reduce costs, increase revenues, and manage risks. The circular economy plays a vital role in this, as we need to start using the technology we use in a circular way. Together with our infrastructure partners, we will explore ways to do this. What is available, what are companies working on and how do they want to tackle it? With sessions from Viessman, Niko, Duco, D’Ieteren, Allego, Fujitsu, Moore & WAAK we have a diverse offering to help shape the path to the smart city.
