Allego sponsors the event with its own boat, including a mocktail bar, giving them a significant presence. Because this year’s edition is all about circularity, it’s a perfect match with Allego. Allego is on a mission to power all EV’s with 100% clean energy by making it accessible and convenient for everyone. Allego wants EV drivers to drive on locally generated electricity from the wind and sun as possible. Their goal for this year is to purchase at least 80% of their sustainable energy via PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements). This means that due to contracts with sustainable energy producers, Allego and EV drivers benefit from a long-term supply of clean energy at a stable price. With this energy, they power a broad European charging network with new locations opening every month. By attending the event and inviting some of their key relations, they wish to maintain and expand their impact in the EV-industry.
Sander Sommer, managing director Benelux of Allego, states: “This event serves as both an appreciation for our existing partners, as well as an opportunity to network and expand our community. By doing so, we wish to make our 100% clean energy accessible and convenient for all EV drivers.“ Sander emphasizes that the Captains of Industry event aligns perfectly with Allego and their mission, placing a strong focus on sustainability and innovation.
